Job Description

Industrial Sewing Machine Operator - Immediate opening NOW in Tomball Tx. 
Temp to Hire
1st Shift or 2nd shift - Must be flexible to work both shifts 
Pay $17/hr.
 
**Must have a valid driver’s license and Proof of Education**
 
Summary: The Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for surging pre-cut patterns and able to sew pieces together to form complete parts/mats.
 
Essential Functions
  • Guide parts under needle following edges seam, and guides on machine bed or markings on part Industrial sewing including top stitching.
  • Cut and organize sewing supplies such as binding, webbing, cord, tape, or thread according to specific specifications or color of material as stated on work order.
  • Maintain raw material, cut excess thread or material.
  • Use proper equipment, tools, and fabrication techniques.
  • Responsible for using a tape measure.
  • Responsible for handling, positioning, and moving materials through the sewing and other manufacturing operations.
 
Qualifications
  • Must have Serger sewing machine experience: Minimum 3 year (Required)
  • Sewing/Upholstering experience preferred
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate mechanical skills.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • **Has a valid driver’s license**
  • **Proof of Education**
