Pay range: $25.00 - $26.00 (depending on experience)

3rd shift 10p-6a

Inspects forgings and tooling for dimensional accuracy and surface defects by performing the following duties.  This position is in the forging shop.

Must have CMM and GD&T experience.

   Measures dimensions of product to print tolerance.
   Visually examines casting for defects such as cracks and un-fills.
   Separates any defective parts for MRB disposition.
   Certifies all measuring instruments prior to use in inspection. 
   Performs process inspections for the machine shop. 
   Applies and validates serialization using Hilti Gas Powered stamping guns
   Uses performs inspections with profile gages as well as standard hand tools such as vernier calipers, height gages, and stiff jaw calipers
   Can read, interpret, and understand blueprints.

Require at least 1 year of Machining, Equipment Operation, and/or Inspection experience in a
manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to read blueprints and use micrometer gages   
 
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
