OVERVIEW:
We support multi-shift manufacturing operations and are seeking an Inventory Specialist / Material Handler to manage inventory transactions, material movement, and inventory accuracy within a production environment. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory control, supporting production operations, and ensuring proper handling of electronic components and materials.
ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:
• Manage Goods Issue (GI) and Goods Receipt (GR) transactions accurately and timely within inventory systems.
• Process material issuance, receipt, and work order returns to support production operations.
• Perform monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Utilize SAP/MES inventory systems to track materials and support inventory transactions.
• Maintain proper custody and control of inventory to prevent loss, damage, or discrepancies.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, shelves, and warehouse locations.
• Follow inventory procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Assist with material handling and movement of electronic components throughout the facility.
• Report inventory issues, discrepancies, and concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of inventory, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience working with electronic parts and components preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Experience with SAP, MES, or other inventory management systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to accurately manage inventory records and transactions.
• Ability to handle electronic components and materials safely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
