Job Description

Janitor 
Temp to Hire
$16.00/hr 
  • 2nd Shift (1 position needed)
    • Base Pay: $16.00/hour
    • Shift Differential: $1.00/hour
    • Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday
  • 2nd shift candidate must be available to work dayshift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) for the first two weeks for training

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office areas.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including shelving, equipment, and windowsills.
  • Restock cleaning supplies, paper towels, and soap.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers or vacuums.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Prior experience in a janitorial or custodial role is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., trash bags, cleaning equipment).
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Dependable and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is an advantage.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to [e.g., 25-50] pounds.
