The Process Technician is responsible for supporting production operations by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and operating efficiently. This role works closely with equipment and production engineers to assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, and process improvements. The Process Technician plays a key role in meeting production and quality standards in a cost-efficient manner.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Train and work directly with the engineering team
Maintain an assigned production section containing multiple machines
Operate and support advanced robotics and automated equipment
Perform general equipment maintenance and operation, including:
Equipment calibration
Daily startup checks prior to operation
Minor equipment repairs
Equipment program and hardware troubleshooting
Process troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Programming new automated equipment
Modifying program parameters, configuration files, and recipes
Backing up equipment programs
Report process or device issues to management or supervisors
Write reports and communicate updates to engineering and management teams
Assist engineers with experiments and process testing
Perform minor troubleshooting of device failures
Provide operator backup when needed
Perform soldering techniques for equipment repair, manufacturing, and rework
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly processes and equipment
Basic computer skills for reporting daily activities
Experience using hand tools such as:
Wrenches, hammers, socket sets
Screwdrivers, pliers, vice grips, pipe wrenches
Preferred Experience:
3+ years as an Equipment or Process Technician in manufacturing
Experience with soldering, microscopes, electro-mechanical tools, and measurement devices
Exposure to automated machines and/or computer programming languages
