Job Description

Logistics Assistant - Shipping/Receiving
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00/hr
Temp to Hire
1st Shift 7am - 4pm 

Overall Responsibilities
  • Inspection, handling and shipping of parts and products for customer order fulfilment in a friendly, fast paced environment
 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities 
  • Review items to be shipped against pick list
  • Process sales orders in ERP system
  • Prepare and pack domestic and international outgoing shipments according to internal standards
  • Process shipments through freight carrier websites
  • Review shipping documentation for accuracy
  • Maintain electronic shipping files
  • Communicate with internal sales to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with general warehouse operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of office and warehouse spaces.
 
Desired Experience and Qualifications
  • Use of ERP system
  • Forklift operator qualified
  • Knowledge of basic shipping practices and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
