Sandblaster/Pipe Cutter
Temp to Hire
1st shift: 4/10s - 6AM start time M-Th. OT avail on Friday and Saturdays as needed
$22- $25/hr
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Cutting:
ï‚·Ability to read a measuring tape, mark pieces for cutting accurately and sort in a blasting basket.
ï‚·Use a bevel machine to bevel pipe ends as required.
ï‚·Mark pipe to corresponding job numbers after cutting.
Blasting:
ï‚·Able to push/pull blasting basket on wheels in and out of booth several times a day.
ï‚·Comfortable using a blast suit and supplied air helmet system.
ï‚·Able to lift up to 50lbs while in the blast booth to maneuver parts for blasting on all sides.
ï‚·Knowledge of SP blasting specs preferable.
General:
ï‚·Skilled at prioritizing work, managing multiple tasks.
ï‚·Ability to maintain marginal paperwork.
ï‚·Performs other related duties as assigned.

ï‚·Willing to learn and follow an established process.
ï‚·Available to work overtime when needed.
ï‚·Team-minded, and self-motivating
Education and Experience:
ï‚·High school diploma or equivalent required.
ï‚·At least two years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
ï‚·Prolonged periods of standing and bending required.
ï‚·Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
