Maintenance Helper
Schedule: Monday- Friday 5:30am-2:00pm
Location: Stephenville Texas
Pay rate: $18.07/hr.
Temp to Hire
Must be able to operate : Hand and power tools and machinery, including forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes
Job Summary: Under direct supervision, follow maintenance instructions given by Maintenance Manager and/or Maintenance Team Lead. Required to have limited working knowledge of equipment in each department and perform necessary repairs.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with Maintenance Manager & Team Lead to ensure all maintenance issues are resolved or completed in a timely manner
- Follow daily maintenance task set forth by Maintenance & Team Lead
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Work with Maintenance Manager & Team Lead to ensure facility equipment is running at full capacity to meet production goals
- Maintain all maintenance tools, machinery and other equipment to keep them operating in good working condition
- Perform job function wearing proper PPE as designated by the company
- Able to safely and correctly operate hand and power tools and machinery, including forklifts, semi-automated material handling equipment, and overhead cranes
- Participate in training and continuing education as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Work overtime as required
Required Qualifications, Education, Skills and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Or, other work related experience
- Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, squatting and standing positions (includes working off ladders) for long periods of time (in excess of one hour)
- pass forklift certification and requirements to operate forklifts

- Effective communication skills: verbal and written (English)
- Follow written and/or oral instructions in English
- Electrical or mechanical technical experience or training
