Maintenance Technician
1st Shift: 6am-2pm
Temporary Role: Several months (est. 3-4 months)
Pay: $28-$32/hr
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Repairs and maintains machinery, performs preventive maintenance and maintains forklifts, production machines (CNC and manual) as well as hydraulic and pneumatic manufacturing equipment by performing the following duties.
2.0 DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be effective in troubleshooting equipment in both during operation and idle.
- Must possess skills required to identify equipment that is not performing to expectations using sound, meters and other industry acceptable methods to identify and address issues as early as possible.
- Must possess strong electrical troubleshooting ability with knowledge of electrical instruments such as digital multi-meter, Meg-Ohmmeter, etc; must have experience dealing with voltages up to 480VAC.
- Must have strong understanding of electrical and motor controls circuitry.
- Must be able to identify and replace worn or broken parts.
- Skills must include the ability to operate basic equipment (lathes, drill presses, grinders and etc) to manufacture or repair replacement parts.
- Properly maintains all equipment (lubricates, cleans and replace parts as needed).
- Must possess effective and professional communication skills needed in the day to day interface with all plant staff.
- Repairs electrical and other facility equipment, including HVAC, plumbing and sprinkler systems.
- Promote and support safety, environmental and good housekeeping requirement.
- Other duties as assigned or required by supervisory staff.

Education/Experience
- Requires one-year certificate from college or technical school and a minimum of seven to ten years related experience and/or training.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings as they pertain to the machining of inflatable packers.
