Temp to Hire
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, in-office or hybrid schedule available
Summary:
The Marine Licensing Filing Agent will be responsible for supporting clients with the submission of applications for marine licenses. This includes managing the entire application process from the initial consultation, to the compilation of documentation, and the submission of the application to the relevant authorities. The ideal candidate will have experience in marine licensing and compliance or oil/gas industry experience, must be detail-oriented, and possess excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to understand their marine licensing needs and provide guidance on the application process
Review and analyze documentation required for the marine licensing application process
Compile, complete and submit accurate applications and related documentation to regulatory agencies in a timely manner
Liaise with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates on the application process
Maintain accurate records of all license applications, submissions, and renewals
Providing guidance and advice to clients regarding the licensing process and requirements
Monitoring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
Communicating with clients regarding the status of their applications and any necessary follow-up actions
Attending meetings and participating in stakeholder activities related to marine licensing
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field Preferred; experience and combination of education may substitute for degree
2 years experience working in marine-related industries
Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to marine licensing and permitting
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
