Material Receipts Coordinator

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description: This role will primarily focus on overseeing and managing the receipt of materials, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Material Receipts: Ensure all material receipts are processed within 24 hours as per KPIs.
- Issue Warehouse Material Receipts: Issue warehouse material receipts for all cargo within 24 hours of receipt.
- Resolve Receipt Issues: Work with material suppliers to resolve any receipt-related issues promptly.
- Verify Material Accuracy: Ensure that the correct material is received and matches purchase orders.
- Troubleshoot Discrepancies: Resolve discrepancies in paperwork, labeling, or material quality, and escalate to the appropriate team members if needed.
- Oversee Overage, Shortage, and Damage (OS&D) Issues: Address and resolve OS&D issues within 24 hours; escalate unresolved issues to key account representatives.
- Customer Requirements: Adhere to specific customer requirements related to warehouse receiving, checking, packaging, and storage.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve material receipt and inventory discrepancies.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse or inventory management is a plus.
- Previous experience in material receipt or coordination roles preferred.
