Job Description: Painter Helper
Role Overview
Job Responsibilities
As a Painter Helper, you will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting valves while maintaining strict adherence to production schedules, quality control, and safety standards.
Core Duties:
Preparation & Masking: Clean and wipe down valves. Tape all ID tags and levers. Apply socket weld or buttweld covers to valves.
Painting & Finishing: Prime valves and allow to dry, followed by the final paint application.
Quality Control: Remove all tape and blow off valves to ensure the final product is entirely free of dust and grit.
Material Handling: Clean levers and carefully place finished valves onto pallets.
Equipment Operation: Operate a blast cabinet for blasting small parts. Operate a forklift as needed for material transport.
General Support: Perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by the immediate supervisor.
