Pay $15.00/hr.
Summary:
Join our team as a Paint Booth Operator! In this role, you will be responsible for spraying paint on gasket rings, racking/unracking parts, and maintaining equipment and cleanliness in the work area. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with experience in operating spray guns and tumbling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use spray guns to paint gasket rings and related items.
- Clean and maintain spray guns, filters, and other equipment.
- Ensure proper paint levels and lubrication, checking equipment regularly.
- Rack/unrack parts, and operate degreasing and tumbling equipment.
- Inspect parts for defects and cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Report defective paint, faulty equipment, and any issues to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety guidelines, and technical instructions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Experience using hand and power tools, including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, sitting, and reaching with hands/arms.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with lifting heavier items.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
