Job Description

Description
Applies various finishes to floor and walls of job area, including primers or sealers. Prepares, cleans, and tapes job area.
Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.

Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them
Mixing and matching paint, stain and other finishes to job specifications
Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers
Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
 Follows supervisor’s instructions

Requirements

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience
Professional painting and polishing certificate or equivalent practical experience preferred
Attention to detail
Familiarity with painting tools and materials
Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
