Duties:
ties:Phone Health Screeners for busy Medicare Supplement division. The position involves calling people who have applied for insurance to verify their health history information. You will apply your knowledge of common medical conditions and medication in conversations with the customers applying for our products. While this position requires phone work, this does not include sales calls. This is not a remote position. It is an in office position only.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review applications for health and other eligibility criteria.
• Make calls to applicants to verify application information.
• Collaborate with agent s regarding applications as it pertains to the underwriting process.
• Obtains information and logs in all questions with accuracy and in depth detail.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology Preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and office skills
• Willingness to help and learn
• Background in health or life insurance is a plus
• Experience working as Medical Scribe, Pharmacy Technician, EMT, Pre-med Students or any
• other health/medical related positions are eligible for Underwriting position
