Pipe Yard Forklift Operator/Shipping Clerk
First Shift – 7:00AM – 4:00PM (Open to working OT when needed)
Pay: $20+
Direct Hire
 
**Must know how to operate a Heavy/Large Forklift**
 
Pipe Yard Forklift Operator/Shipping Clerk Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts with a capacity of lifting 21,000 lbs. or more, including models capable of lifting up to 70,000 lbs.
  • Safely perform team lifts in coordination with cranes and forklifts to move large parts in and out of the shop.
  • Operate and coordinate two cranes simultaneously for the movement of oversized or heavy parts.
  • Safely flip large parts using cranes, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure proper rigging and alignment during heavy lifts.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines for handling large and heavy equipment to prevent damage or injury.
  • Completing material transactions in the ERP system.
  • Organizing the shipping/receiving areas and general yard storage areas. 
 
Pipe Yard Forklift Operator/Shipping Clerk Requirements
  • Must know how to operate a Forklift with 20k capacity or higher.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a material handler, shipping or receiving technician or similar
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and 5S
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products and ERP systems
