SUMMARY
Supervise activities of the Electrical, Paint, Lamination, Face Forming, CNC, and Work Cell teams in conjunction with strategic goals of Architectural Graphics Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.
• Supervise production line work cell leaders to ensure optimum assembly line and production flow.
• Achieve on-time delivery targets by allocating resources to meet detailed production schedules.
• Monitor critical item inventory levels to prevent production line shortage.
• Work with Purchasing, Quality, Shipping, and Receiving to ensure proper handling of material.
• Implement procedures per the Architectural Graphics Standards Manual.
• Monitor backlog and schedules to detect and report problems that affect on time delivery.
• Identify departmental training and development needs, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with corporate and company policies and procedures.
• Resolve major customer problems while continuously identifying process improvements and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Plan and recommend necessary staffing and resource changes required to meet departmental and company goals.
• Maintain cost and expense parameters and profitability targets.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 5 to 40 employees in the AG Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years manufacturing operations experience; 3 in a supervisory capacity. Familiarity with Microsoft Office; mainframe knowledge including network, operating systems, and electronic mail; MRP experience preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme heat; explosives; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
