Payroll/HR Coordinator
Direct Hire
Salary: $60K - $80K annually DOE
Onsite - In-Office Position
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all US and contract employees on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations and deductions
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, tax withholding, and benefits deductions
- Oversee all timecard-related processes, ensuring accurate and timely submissions from employees and contractors
- Ensure payroll data is properly approved and transmitted for payroll processing in accordance with payroll deadlines
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Provide accurate payroll records/reports to accounting and management
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
- Maintain records and employee files in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, benefits, and company policies
- Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, scheduling, and onboarding
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in payroll processing and administration
- Experience with ADP Payroll preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, data analysis tools etc
- Bilingual Spanish / English preferred
