We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in the life safety and low voltage industry. We install Fire Alarm, Access Control, sprinkler, and Ansul Systems. We are looking for someone to be able to assist our growing team of employees with executing and finalizing for our over 100+ clients. You will need to be well versed in the IBC, IFC, NFPA 72, NFPA 101 and Experience in sales and project managing fire alarms or fire sprinkler systems.
Duties:
- Review incoming projects to ensure we have all required information to manage properly –
-Assess projects with project managers and salesperson along with scope of project
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire protection and sprinkler systems and make necessary repairs.
-Collaborate with New Age team for fire and sprinkler protection systems for projects.
- Review outgoing projects to ensure the project was designed properly and project hours stay under budget, and AHJ requirements are met.
- Keep detailed records of projects
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices for fire and sprinkler protection systems.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and Texas AHJ amendments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to fire protection and fire sprinkler systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Leadership skills
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate design
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients and Fire Marshals.
- Able to travel to Dallas at least two times a month.
