Quality Document Control Specialist - Houston, TX 77092
Temp to Hire
Pay: $22.00 - $34.00 per hour
 
Summary: Responsible for accurately, securely and effectively managing all company Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain business-related documents, processes, and procedures throughout their life cycle.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage Quality Master Document List revisions and update
  • Maintain, verify, and evaluate existing records management systems
  • Manage enquiries and requests for information from both internal and external clients
  • Scan all documents to the Operating System Records Database
  • Ensure that data is protected
  • Classify and index records
  • Destroy or archive finished data/records
  • Ensure that records are easily accessible when needed 
  • Provide training to staff who require access to documents and/or records
  • Assemble documentation packages (Data Books)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Proficient at multi-tasking
Qualifications: 
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office products to include Word, Excel, Adobe, ERP  (SAP, Max, Oracle) and MRP systems
  • Minimum Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from college or technical school or  3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understands shop floor process, manufacturing
  • Understand within the document – work order, NCR, test reports, drawings, everything that has to deal with manufacturing and assembling the product for data books
