Schedule: Thursday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay: $15.00–$20.00/hr (DOE)
Job Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting optoelectronic components to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work with very small components using microscopes and tweezers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, testing, and screening of optoelectronic components.
- Perform visual inspections to identify defects.
- Use microscopes and tweezers to inspect and handle small components.
- Record inspection results and enter data into the quality database.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure accurate measurements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills; data entry experience is a plus.
- Ability to use a microscope.
- Steady hands and the ability to handle very small components.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
