Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Inspector to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting optoelectronic components to ensure products meet company quality standards. This role involves visual inspections, microscope work, identifying defects, documenting results, and handling very small components with precision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, testing, and screening for defects in optoelectronic components
- Perform detailed inspections using microscopes
- Hand-pick small components using tweezers
- Document inspection results by completing reports and entering data into quality databases
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain inspection equipment properly
- Identify product defects, inconsistencies, and quality issues
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer and data entry skills preferred
- Ability to use microscopes and handle very small components
- Steady hands and strong attention to detail required
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English
