Quality Supervisor- Direct Hire

Responsibilities
 •Supervise QA Inspectors
 •Obtain a thorough working knowledge of all items and finished products
 •Complete supervisory responsibilities such as annual employee appraisals, rewarding and disciplining, and planning, assigning and directing work
 •Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow
 •Train employees in production procedures, safety rules and regulations, and company policies
 •Assist in the design and development of new and existing products
 •Make any needed improvements to the department in order to increase efficiency
 •Create and manage Quality Assurance Manual updates
 •Review and ensure Vendor Quality Assurance
 •Manage Quality Control Team
 •Provide technical support to sales team and customers
 •Maintain general housekeeping of work area including cleaning and organization
 •Other duties may be assigned

Strong communication, problem resolution, conflict management, and leadership skills.  Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, identify priorities, organize work efficiently to meet deadlines, and make effective business decisions.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  5 years manufacturing operations experience; 3 years minimum in a supervisory capacity.  Familiarity with Microsoft Office; mainframe knowledge including network, operating systems, and electronic mail; MRP experience preferred.
