Pay will start @ $15/hr depending on the experience

Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method
• Prepares, processes, and distributes daily shipment documentation for all facets of outbound services.
• Responsible for ensuring documentation compliance with all requirements, e.g., quality.
• Coordinates with various departments to check and verify shipment information.
• Work with the Packers for getting orders packed on time.
• Operates shipping equipment to complete tasks adhering to company safety practices.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; have hand to finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to confirm serial numbers and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. Clearly understand and follows ALL Emerson Safety Policies including but not limited to proper PPE, proper lifting techniques, and local site safety requirements.
• Safely operate a sit down and stand-up forklift to load and unload trucks and gather stock from the warehouse.
• Required to accurately select pallets from the shipping area and load them onto route trucks, flat beds, dry vans, etc.
• Experience with matching BOL s and invoices to material being shipped.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area by disposing of trash daily, sweeping floors daily and using floor scrubber periodically.
• Be very detailed oriented and ensure correct material is selected, processed, and shipped.
• Work within the established performance, attendance, metrics, and safety goals
• All other duties as required.

• Must have 1-2 years of related experience, which may include forklift operation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
