TPI Staffing is Hiring for 2 Stockers, in Conroe, TX, this is a Temp to Hire position.
2nd shift - Monday thru Saturday with a rotating day off 3pm-11:30pm
Overview
General Labor roles, you will be required to perform any combination of receiving, storing and distributing tasks.
This is a fast pace position that requires heavy lifting, pulling and dragging of assorted items with the use of a drag rod, must keep up with production fill lines, unload trailers with empty cases and returned products, lifting heavy pallets & general housekeeping. This is not a climate controlled environment, hot in the summer and cold when temperatures drop. We require non slip, steel toe work boots/shoes, no tank tops or muscle shirts or shorts allowed. Hair net/beard net must be worn, jewelry is not allowed.
Qualifications
• One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some positions require you to obtain a company-sponsored certification in order to perform the role
• Ability to read and interpret documents
Responsibilities
Tasks performed may include some or all of the following:
• Load trailers
• Load/unload stacks of crates and move items around the floor
• Rotate products daily
• Sort, bundle and fill containers
• Place items in assembled units
• Complete paperwork for incoming and outgoing truckloads
• Mark or put identifying labels on product loads
• Record movement of stock in and out of work areas
• Monitor materials, products and equipment at each step of process and report irregularities to supervisor
