Administrative Assistant/Data Entry - Katy, TX 77449
Long Term Temporary, possible Temp to Hire
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00a - 5:00p
This is a combined position of Administrative Assistant and Data Entry duties. This position will spend 50% on daily warehouse order entries and 50% of the time working on the Data Entry of automated data recorded on CE units.
Job Duties:
Assist Warehouse Manager with all paperwork related to warehouse shipping and receiving, inventory, and other special projects.
Utilize SAP system to enter order, cycle count data, create Pick Tickets, process inbound receiving documents, and process customer Invoices.
Cover the front desk as needed.
Assist with shipping and receiving discrepancies, process customer parts returns, match purchase orders to sales orders and assist with inventory discrepancy resolutions.
Monitor email traffic to assist Warehouse Manager in proper and timely responses to customers concerns.
Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments
Prepare parcels for mailing
Assist with physical counting of parts in warehouse locations.
Maintain warehouse statistical reports via Excel and PowerPoint.
Assist occasionally with the counting of physical inventory.
Maintain office and warehouse supplies, submitting orders for replenishment when required.
Assist Shipping by preparing Shipping Labels.
Review, Label and Organize small parts on automated storage machines
Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of Administrative Assistant experience.
SAP or Oracle preferred.
Comfortable working in an office in the warehouse.
Will occasionally assist with warehouse inventory.
High school diploma or GED.
Must have strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Email
