Warehouse Associate
Temp to Hire
1st shift: 6AM - 3:30pm
$16-$18/hr
• Prepares products for work orders and/or shipments, determines shipping mode, estimates shipment value, determines appropriate insurance amount, and contacts carriers for pick up.
• Returns merchandise to stock and credits work order items not needed by production.
• May contact carriers to arrange shipments.
• Verifies, completes, and keeps necessary records on incoming and/or outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and/or outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Returns merchandise to stock and credits work order items not needed by production.
• Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment.
• Required to perform warehouse duties.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment while working and within the boundaries of production.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Shipping/Receiving
- Basic computer skills required
- Helpful to have some warehouse and inventory control experience
