Warehouse Associate - 2 - Immediate openings in Spring Tx.
Temp to Hire
Pay: $20/hr
Monday through Friday
Work Hours: 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Organize and assign tasks to team members.
- Ensure trucks are processed through shipping and/or receiving in a timely manner.
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out promptly and accurately.
- This is a working lead position; the individual will need to perform duties for the operators to keep things moving smoothly.
- Ensure general housekeeping is completed for production areas and the warehouse.
- Assist in daily scheduled production in all areas, ensuring the processing work is performed efficiently and productively.
- Coordinate and schedule with subcontractors to ensure material is pulled on time.
- Label products according to standards (Product Number, Product Name, Lot, Date, and other requirements).
- Protect products after packing (proper stacking, shrink wrap, covers, warehouse label).
- Monitor workers and equipment and report any problems to the manager.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Must be able to read and write English and have basic math skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- ** Bilingual is a PLUS**
