First Shift - 6AM to 3:30 pm
Second Shift - 8:30am - 5PM
Summary
The Quality Inspector is chiefly responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming products and recording quality results
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Reviews inspection packets for product specifications
- Inspects incoming products by confirming specifications. Conducting visual tests
- Records inspection results. Notifying Lead Inspector of all failed inspection
- Meets department and quality goals daily
- Accomplish all tasks assigned or requested
Qualifications
- High School Degree, Diploma or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institution
- Minimum 2 years of experience inspecting products
- Manufacturing/Distribution environment a must
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment (pallet jack, pallet rider, order picker, forklift)
- Requires squatting, kneeling, bending, and some overhead lifting
- Works well in a team environment
