Job Description: Warehouse Clerk responsible for the facility daily warehouse logistics that support the timely delivery to our customers both inbound and outbound.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Daily review and planning of workload to organize and execute efficient timing of delivery.
- Loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks.
- Responsible for ensuring all inventory is processed in the warehouse and logged into Oracle.
- Liaising with other Spirit Warehouse facilities, Operations, and transport companies to ensure timely deliveries.
- Fulfilling objectives and directions from the operations.
- Operate Forklift equipment.
- Maintains a clean work environment and follows all safety protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience working with shipping/receiving product and inventory management.
- Must have experience with all warehouse equipment, including Stand-up and Sit-down Forklift.
- Experience using an inventory management system, preferable Oracle.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, time management skills and attention to details.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills and adept at finding solutions.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the Cherry Picker and Power Pallet Jack.
Physical Requirements:
- Must stand for extended periods of time (8 hours daily) while wearing steel toed shoes/boots on concrete floors.
- frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination for repetitive motion.
- Must grasp, manipulate, or assemble parts and components that range from very small to large objects.
- Must frequently walk, push, and pull; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist or crawl.
- Must be able to easily and regularly lift and/or move, pull, or push up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
