TPI Staffing has an immediate opening for 10 Wiring Technicians in N. Houston (77066).
Temp to Hire
Pay: $16-24/hr.
First shift Monday – Thursday
Wiring Technician Responsibilities
- Drill holes to run new wires, install low-voltage wiring through new constructions, assemble and install control panels and switches, and test all systems to ensure safe and full functionality.
- Layout, measure, drill, and tap subpanels for initial assembly preparation.
- Install din rail, equipment, SEL relays, Lock Out Relays, test switches, terminal blocks, nameplates, and wire duct.
- Cut, tag, and run wire in specification to project drawings.
- Mount, bend, and run conduit to and from power panels, handy boxes, and equipment inside of modified containers and remote instrument enclosures.
- Alter and cut steel, plastic, or other various types of materials.
- Ensure project quality within specification.
- Perform additional duties as needed to ensure project schedule and timeline are met.
Wiring Technician Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a wiring technician required.
- Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required.
- Two or more years of experience in NEC and UL codes preferred.
